Phong Nha Cave – Dark Cave – Botanical Gardens

ITINERARY:

8am – 8:30am: Pick Up Time

9:30am: Botanic Garden

With a total area of 40ha, Botanical Garden is the epitome of Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. The garden is a great spot to explore primeval forests with diverse and precious flora, fauna, and beautiful natural landscapes.

The botanical garden highlights the beautiful landscape hidden in the tropical forest, such as the Gio waterfall higher than 30m, Vang Anh Lake, rare forest trees with populations of green limbs, timber, etc.

10:00am: Phong Nha Cave

Phong Nha Cave is more than 7,730 meters long. The mouth of the cave is 20-25 meters wide, about 10 meters high, and 83 meters deep. Its complicated structure contains 14 grottoes, many connecting branches, and an underground river which is considered the largest in the world.

The cave has two parts: the dry caves located at an altitude of 200 meters and the wet caves with the underground river.

You will take a boat ride along the Son River. You will continue on boat and on foot to discover the beauty of stalagmites and stalactites with interesting shapes of faces and animals inside Phong Nha Cave.

12:30am: Have Lunch in Dark Cave Restaurant

2:00pm: Dark Cave

You get ready for your next adventure activities: Zipline over Chay River, Dark Cave river walk, and the natural mud pool. The mud bath is a highlight of the Dark Cave tour. After the mud bath, you clean yourself in the river then kayak back to the zipline station, where you can zipline or swim in the river (time dependent).

5:00pm: Drop Off Place in Phong Nha Town
